How to play: everyone holds a gift. Read the story out loud. Pass one seat left on every LEFT and one seat right on every RIGHT. When the story ends, keep what you're holding.
How the generator works
It strings together sentences written by hand for each occasion, drops your guests into them, and counts the passes as it goes. Before it hands you the story, it checks the ending against your group size. If every gift would land back where it started, it adds one more pass to the last line.
The share link carries everything: the occasion, group size, length, names, and a short code for the random choices. Open it on another phone and you get the same story, word for word.
Tips
- Short stories take a minute or two. Long ones run about five.
- Fewer than three names? The story borrows a couple of extra characters so the same person isn't doing everything.
- Not funny enough? Write another. There are thousands of combinations per occasion.
- Want something polished instead? The 16 written stories are longer and have real plots.
