What makes a good Herd Mentality question?
A question needs a wide field of plausible answers and one that most people will land on anyway. "Name a farm animal" works because there are dozens of right answers and one everybody thinks of first. "Name a country" is too wide โ the group scatters and nobody scores. "Name a primary colour" is too narrow โ everyone matches and the round is dead.
- Aim for questions with roughly 5โ20 realistic answers.
- Avoid anything with a single correct answer; that is trivia, not this.
- Avoid anything so personal that matching is impossible.
- Opinion questions are great for adults and terrible for mixed ages.
